Who We Are
We are a Union of the three former charges of Hoddom, Kirtle-Eaglesfield and Middlebie. Until the present union we were linked with the church in Waterbeck. We now have two places of worship and one Kirk Session. This comprises of 21 elders (11 male and 10 female) who are working together to establish a basis of fellowship to allow this union to grow and flourish. At present there is a roll of 220.
We are part of the Presbytery of Annandale & Eskdale which, although one of the smaller Presbyteries, is forward looking in having a Further Ministries Team, made up of 2 youth workers and a congregational facilitator who are a very valuable resource to all ministers. Working alongside them we have been encouraged to develop our own team of Elders who are willing to lead worship and to work with children and young people.
